Wow! Sorry about the delay again. Told ya no promises. I got grounded from the computer the day after posting chapter 2-3, and had to wait. 2-4 is finally up, and I don't see myself getting grounded any time soon, so the future looks bright! :D

Okay, back from the dead everyone. I'm so sorry for the huge delay. ^_^;;;; You can expect many, many more chapters, much, much more frequently now. I've got chapter 2-3 up, and I'll try to post another tomorrow. No promises, though.

Hooray!!! The forums are finally up! :D Not only that, but the search function appears to be working. The forums are pretty bare right now, but I'll be working on them very hard. Also, I've got chapter's 2-1, and 2-2 up. Lastly, I've changed the menus so the chapters are completely collapsed when you're not viewing them. It saves alot of updating time for me, so I can work on the novel.

Okay, I'll be brief. Chapter eight of The Fire Cavern is up. New link on the sidebar for forums... They'll be finished next week. Also, I've made the larger chapters collapse when you're not viewing them. I imagine it will get pretty crowded. For the same reason, I removed the option of downloading mini-chapters.

First and foremost, I've got three new chapters up in the Fire Cavern Installment (five, six, and seven), which I think you'll really like! As you'll see in six, I'm spending a good deal of time elaborating on the whole GF idea, making it more suitable to a novel than a video game. Also, this is a good example of how I plan to expand upon the game, and go deeper into relationships between characters, where there wasn't any (or at least was less of), before. For those of you sick of talking, I hope you like how chapter seven has its good share of action, and expect even more in chapter eight.

Lastly, if you go back to previous chapters, you'll see that some minor things have been changed, as well as double spacing between paragraphs, and indentations.

Here we are. At the beginning. Nothing really to report, so I'll throw a bit of back story on the table. FF8 is my favorite game of all time. One day, I decided to go online and look for a novelization. Hell, I always though FF8 would make the perfect book... Maybe it was already written. Imagine my surprise (or was it dismay... I can't remember), when there was nothing. I think I might have found one written in Japanese, but it was never translated. Even if it was... How well would FF8 translate directly to book format, unless it was tweaked first. After all, the script was written for a video game. I wanted to read an FF8 novel, but I didn't really trust anyone to write the novel that I, myself, would want to read. It needed to be perfect. So... Here I am. Taking the first step of a four disc journey. You can hold me to this, I will follow through. I will finish this novel. I will prevail, and I will not give up! :D

Wish me luck, and I hope you like whatever I may come up with.

EDIT: Just a note, sorry there's a bunch of the site that's not finnished yet. I promise to have it up and running ASAP. Just hang in there. (Working hard on the novel as well as the site).
